Your Space
Your space matters and there is beauty and power in how we personalize a room we can call our own. Psychology states that in taking ownership of the places we call home and taking initiative in it's beautification, it decreases stress and boosts creativity as well as a general satisfaction of life.

Everyone gravitates towards different works of art, made by ourselves or by others. Artwork is a deeply personal feature and boosts our own internal creative world.
Feeling like artwork is accessible gives a power to your own voice and your own story. This is why it is so powerful to buy art for yourself, especially from real artists who made something just for you. It can boost how you feel for years to come while giving back to your community and boosting the local economy. But that's not all.
Third Spaces
Third spaces are where we build community, affirming our own personal identities while building empathy. For us, it also means we provide a creative space where everyone feels welcome. It's a creative interior that supports not only who we are, but who we want to be.

It's important for our 'social muscles' to build our relationships with the people we share this town with. For some people, especially with a growing convenience of less social interaction, this can feel very difficult. Even at the grocery store, there are ways to not talk to the cashier as a micro interaction. Although it might not seem significant, these sort of opportunities for less social interaction is truly a detriment creatively, personally, and socially.
According to Psychology Today, here are some great ways to flex those community muscles if you are feeling a bit isolated or sad in this world:
Connect with Five People Each Week
Talk on the phone with someone for at least ten minutes.
Do a small act of kindness for someone in the neighborhood weekly.
Start with three friends. Give support and focus to three friends, focusing on honesty, authenticity, and support. Having at least three close friends helps you feel loved and supported.
Join at least one community group. This could be The Indiana Arts Council, The Indiana Art Association, Indiana Theater, Indiana Players, Friends of Whites Woods, or the Indiana Garden Club as some examples.
Event Space:
Do you need a colorful, creative event space?

Do you need a colorful, creative event space? More private than a third space, but supports your community? Perhaps a place lined with artwork that makes you feel at home? We can help you with that! Reserve our space for your own private event here:
There is power in the spaces we use, from personal to public. We are so happy to support the you in all that you are, empowering yourself through creative, beautiful surroundings and community.
