PHILLY STREET STRINGS at the Indiana Theater !
On September 28 at 7pm, Indiana’s very own orchestra will open the Indiana Arts Council’s
2024/25 Concert Series. Following their rousing debut concert, this past January, Philly Street
Strings will present another exciting program of string music.
The program will again include a variety of styles from classical to jazz and folk inspired compositions:
Concerto Grosso Opus 6 No. 7, by G.F. Handel
Serenade for Strings, by Edward Elgar
Lithuanian Folk Songs, arr. by Stanley Chepaitis
Jazz Tunes by Duke Ellington, arr. by Stanley Chepaitis
This concert makes for a great night out around town, and it’ll be fun for the whole family!
The theater’s concession stand will be open ahead of the concert and during intermission.
