An Ekphrastic Success!

And since then several people have lingered over the rich combinations of literary and visual art doing their dance across the exhibit wall. 20 poems and 20 works of art. Rich and diverse. Each panel features four works by a pair of visual and literary artists in collaboration. They responded to each other's work with a new creation!

Learning is Loving

The exuberance and pleasure of one’s living on this blue marble takes some effort. The joy of life. Living large and fulsome. With your whole being. Loving all those connections that we have in our life – that umbilical cord of being -- takes learning. We’re hearing a lot in the news about machine learning improving our lives and making life “easier.” Do you notice that “ease” has very little to do with the exuberance of joie de vivre? You know that feeling you get when you’ve accomplished something exceptional! That footrace where you beat your best time? Cooking that amazing dinner for friends? Presenting a new idea to your chums at work? These events take effort. An effort that is JOYFUL. Which leads to loving your life, and then to loving the human beings around you.
Yes. You can. You should. Find joy in learning, loving and being a whole human being.
Thanks, all! Stop by in real life and join our community. Have a beautiful start your fall.
