How to Display Artwork in Your Home?

They say home is where the heart is. For us that means our walls display what bring us the most joy. Artwork, like that of the human spirit, reflects what it means to be alive.

Everyone resonates with artwork differently. Here are a few tips on displaying your growing collection:

1. Place it on a wall (or table) that you pass every day.

   1. This could be:

      1. Near a doorway

      2. In a workspace

      3. In a dining area, hallway, or bedroom

2. Rotating artwork helps your mind appreciate each piece more when it's there. Have a safe space where it's out of sight for part of the year, so you can rotate some of your favorite pieces to give you new joy every season.

3. Is there a theme with the pieces you love? Group pieces that speak to each other to create the beauty of life, your own museum, in your very own house.

4. Check the tops of your picture frames once in a while. Wipe them when dusty with a lightly damp cloth. If in a glass frame, wipe gently with a light amount of window spray on the cloth. Work carefully to make sure no water or cleaning solution can effect your unique piece.
