About the Event
What could be more appropriate to “Painting the Dance” than dance in the gallery? Mandi’s first art form was dance, from which she has evolved into a painter who creates elegantly beautiful moments of motion. In response, dancer Abigail Hewitt choreographs dancers using the space as living canvas. They will bring to life the gestures and “life spirit” of Mandi’s classic oils and ink brush works. Inspired and inspiring, choreographer and painter join in a one of a kind, magical event.
Performances will run on the hour beginning at 10:15, so drop in and catch us in motion! This event is a collaboration between The Artists Hand, painter Mandi Moerland, and the Sue Hewitt Dance Studio in Indiana, PA.
